Coming from a family of craftmen, I spent my childhood with my father in his workshop to design prototypes and small objects using the off cuts of woods.
This allowed me to always open my mind to new artistic perspectives around approaches and materials as interesting as different.
My studies turned always around Object Design and Advertising conception.
In Paris, I worked as a freelance Graphic Designer in the evening while volunteering during the day for two years at Extramuros-Paris workshop which defends the fundamental ecological value of Up-Cycling.
Overcycling or upcycling is the action of recovering materials or products that are no longer used to turn them into materials or products of superior quality or utility…
In addition to the ecological benefits of reuse, overcycling provides the opportunity to create and recreate unique objects.
I learned how to reuse the wood and give it a new life in another form.
The concept being to take the wood at the source (Veolia waste) and clean, sand, cut wood for the purpose of the customer order.
Customers are mainly large companies focusing on a shift to ecology rather then ecology.
They also give materials that can be used to create a link between old and new furniture while maintainly place.
Faced with the new environment market, the French government invites large and medium-sized companies to participate at this kind of projects and remake their places in function of the latest technologies.
